Job summary

This position involves managing the automated cell and organoid culture platform within a national research infrastructure, focusing on advanced cellular models. The role includes scientific leadership, protocol development, user collaboration, and strategic operations.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical science, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and advanced workflows.
• Proven track record in developing and optimizing protocols for cell culture systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily scientific and technical activities of the automated platform, implementing workflows for culture maintenance and quality control.
• Develop new protocols for organoids and advanced cellular models, translating manual workflows into automated formats.
• Collaborate closely with users to design experiments and provide training and support.
• Manage operational aspects of the platform, including user access, budgeting, and national coordination with partner institutions.
