At Schneider Electric in Denmark, we are currently looking for Project Managers to plan, lead, manage, and control large customer projects.
You will work on projects in the field of electrical energy distribution and technology projects. The scope is medium to large, with corresponding complexity and risk. You will provide the service expected in the project in a cost-effective manner and within the planned time frame.
As Project Manager you act in accordance with the applicable rules of technology, in accordance with Group guidelines and processes, and in accordance with the requirements of the quality management system. You ensure that your projects are carried out in a way that maximizes our business results

Offer and order processing
It is your responsibility to review customer inquiries for your assigned projects.
This includes:

  • Clarification of orders and creation of requirement specifications
  • Development of solution concepts, as well as support in contract negotiations
  • Project calculation
  • Project controlling
  • Budget responsibility
  • Project reviews
  • Ensuring compliance and risk management
  • Participation in the definition of project strategies
     

Team Management (Project Teams)
You will be structuring the project team, motivating, and coaching your team members.
Participation in the definition of the project goals is of course essential, and you put an effort in mentoring and coaching new employees.
You are responsible for the definition of work packages and the determination of the required resources according to the order calculation.
 

Capacity, cost, and EHS
You manage resource planning within your projects and provide early notification of any capacity bottlenecks.
You maximize the business results: cost optimization, risk management, claims management, cash management, etc.
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) considerations are an integrated part of our everyday work. You ensure compliance with and implementation of the Group guidelines regarding EHS.
 

Your qualifications

  • Completed degree in a engineering at a university of applied sciences
  • Professional experience of min. 3 years in the specialist field, including 2 years in project management
  • Confident handling of MS Office products, MS Project, and knowledge of SAP/R3
  • Very good English knowledged
  • Experience in project management in construction environment including many different interfaces and stakeholders
  • Experience from data center projects
