Are you curious about working with financial crime prevention in Saxo?
We are looking for a risk rating model expert who has a deep knowledge of Financial Crime risk models.
The role will be part of the Financial Crime Prevention – Modelling and Development team located in Saxo’s headquarters in Hellerup. The team is responsible for modelling and development activities across the FCP organization in Saxo, and ensures that regulatory requirements are met, in the intercept between tech development and regulatory FCP requirements.
About the job
We are looking for a new colleague to join our team and drive initiatives in relation to improvement of Saxo’s client risk models and ensuring a documented and effective risk rating model across the bank.
You will be working with a team of developers, data scientists, data analysts, and experts who will support you in the requirements and assessments. It is important that you can communicate across organizational levels, and seniorities, and that you are able to make regulatory requirements understandable and operational to the organisation.

Responsibilities
Assessing and analysing regulatory requirements, with the support of the data team, enabling correct and proper risk management
Understanding and analysing the operational implications of new regulations and ensure correct implementation in systems and processes – with the ultimate goal of automating the processes as much as possible
Ability to define key risk indicators and suggest and evaluate data sources for development
Creating visualizations and documentation to represent model and risk metrics effectively
Be the Subject-Matter-Expert across the team on Risk Rating Models, ensuring proper documentation, reports and presentations
Ensuring that the down-stream impact of risk rating models is addressed
Communicate impact and analysis to support stakeholders cross-organization
Your Profile
You thrive in an environment with constant changes and with a level of ambiguity but have an eye for the details. You enjoy being part of cross-functional projects where you strive to find solutions that are commercially viable without jeopardizing regulatory. You have an understanding of the intersection between regulatory requirements and digitalized solutions and models.
You have experience in the financial sector with risk management and regulatory project work. You may have an education in law, business risk management or other relevant education, or at least 5 years of experience working with regulatory implementation.
You are the ideal candidate for the job, if…
You are self-driven and can easily take on projects that require multiple stakeholders
You understand client risk rating models, and have a deep understanding of the end-to-end impact of FCP risk calculations across organizations
You have a relevant educational background and/or experience with assessing and understanding financial crime risk, interpretation of financial crime-related regulatory requirements, risk management or compliance
You possess a combination of technical, analytical, and FCP domain-specific knowledge and know what is required to develop and maintain a model framework
You have experience in creating and documenting business requirements for IT deliveries
You are analytical, structured and can handle multiple tasks at a time
You find it easy to build relationships and communicate effectively on all levels and across borders in a global and dynamic environment
You master English on a professional level. While Danish, as well as other languages are not a requirement, but will be considered as merit as they can help you to understand local laws and requirements, and can be a bridge to other cultures
