Your future team:

The Group Sustainability team is a dedicated group of professionals focused on coordinating and supporting ROCKWOOL’s overall sustainability agenda across the business.

Our team is truly diverse, with colleagues based across three locations, and brings together a range of expertise within the topics of sustainability reporting, human rights, decarbonisation and circular economy. Our team supports ROCKWOOL’s long-term value creation by driving sustainability action and ambition-setting strengthening compliance and helping the business reduce our operational footprint while working to expand our handprint across our operations and society.  

What you will be doing:

As a student assistant, you will help our team deliver on ROCKWOOL’s sustainability agenda. Your main role will be to support on key workstreams such as our double materiality assessment, sustainability target setting and roadmaps, and sustainability initiatives across the business. Depending on your experience, you may also contribute to data modelling and quantitative analysis of our sustainability roadmap, with a particular focus on Scope 3.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the team and supporting our various sustainability programmes
  • Using the Microsoft Office suite (primarily Excel and PowerPoint) to support target setting and roadmap modelling.   
  • Assisting with other ad hoc sustainability projects as needed

What you bring:

We are looking for a student who is passionate about sustainability and has a strong analytical skillset, ideally with an interest in quantitative analysis and simple modelling. You are curious, eager to learn new skills, and motivated to build your understanding of sustainability reporting standards and sustainability strategy. We are an international team working across three locations, so you should be comfortable engaging with stakeholders across functions and countries.

We welcome applications from talented candidates with different backgrounds and levels of experience, but preferably you are:

  • Enrolled in the final year of your BSc or the first year of your MSc in a relevant field such as business, economics, statistics, politics or a similar discipline.
  • Some familiarity with sustainability frameworks and standards, such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Science Based Targets initiative criteria and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards.
  • Confident working with numbers, with a flair for quantitative analysis and experience using Microsoft Excel.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary:

  • Bachelor students: 160 DKK/hour
  • Master students: 175 DKK/hour
  • Transportation allowance: 1000 DKK/month
