About the role

Job summary

This role involves supporting lifecycle management and sustainment of in vitro diagnostic devices in a temporary 18-month position. The R&D Scientist will work in compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards, contributing to the maintenance of assays and optimizing processes within the department.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in design control of Medical/Diagnostic devices
  • Knowledge of IHC, ISH, Flow cytometry, or special stains
  • Tissue knowledge and microscopy experience is advantageous
  • Full fluency in English; Danish is not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming reagent inquiries and maintain relevant systems
  • Communicate with stakeholders internally and externally
  • Collaborate closely with the Design Responsible in the department
  • Plan, create, and maintain Design Control documentation in line with the Quality Management System
  • Execute activities for ongoing maintenance and compliance of risk management documentation
  • Participate in product care initiatives and handle complaints requiring R&D support

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team
  • Open-minded and adaptable to a continuously evolving environment

Education

  • Master’s or PhD in relevant scientific fields

Tools

  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and design control documentation
