Job Description

We are looking for a Social Impact intern to join our studio in Copenhagen in February 2026. 

Why do we need you?
To continue our journey of creativity, innovation, and impact-driven design, we are looking for a Social Impact intern to join our team.

As our new intern you will be part of our dynamic and multidisciplinary R&D department, working alongside architects, engineers, social scientists, computational designers, sustainability experts, and PhDs, to advance and expand sustainability within the built environment. You will get to work side-by-side with our Social Impact Lead, contributing to international projects of varying scales and typologies. Focusing on the experiential qualities of the built environment, and the impact of its design on individuals and communities, you will work with projects and processes by supporting to develop and communicate strategies for inclusion, conducting user analysis, and using qualitative and quantitative data to strengthen social, cultural and contextual understanding.

 

What are we looking for?
We value open-minded and curious people who are passionate about advancing inclusion in our cities and designed spaces. We expect you to be able to think critically and holistically about design, engaging constructively in conversations that address cultural nuance, bias, diversity, accessibility, sustainability, and societal impact.

The ideal candidate has a background or experience that bridges between social sciences, humanities and design, a passion and motivation to learn, curiosity, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and energetic work environment.

At minimum, you need to have completed your bachelor's degree, possess strong written communication skills, proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, competence in diagramming and graphic presentations. Experience with qualitative research methods and socio-spatial analysis are a big advantage.

Commitment required is 6 months, with possibility to extend for long-term growth within the company. This internship is intended to be a part of your studies and requires you to be enrolled as a student.

 

About the internship
Joining our Copenhagen office, you will be part of a company working with international projects of all scales and sizes. We offer intern positions for 6–12 months, with the opportunity for extension. The candidates must be students during the time of the internship. Start date: February 2026. The internship is paid.
