The role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to lead key projects in the ports and maritime domain, manage strategic client relationships, and help drive business development. You will play a central role in expanding our presence in the Northen European Countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany) while working closely with colleagues across countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of consultants specialising in ports, maritime infrastructure and transport.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies for the ports & maritime market.
• Identify and secure new opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with key clients such as major ports, terminal operators, shipping companies and maritime authorities.
• Oversee complex client projects—from market assessments and master plans to operational reviews, feasibility studies and maritime sustainability strategies.
• Contribute to thought leadership through industry presentations, proposals, white papers and publications.
• Stay at the forefront of global maritime trends, including digitalisation, decarbonisation, port resilience and changing trade flows.

Desired skills & experience

• A proven track record (5+ years) of leading and managing projects in the ports, maritime or wider transport infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of port operations, maritime logistics, terminal performance and Northen European maritime policy.
• Demonstrated ability to win new clients and develop long-term commercial relationships in the maritime industry.
• Excellent project management skills with a strong focus on delivery and impact.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in one of Nordic languages or German and English (written and spoken).
