You will become part of our Aviation team
As our new colleague, you'll join a dedicated international aviation team. Our primary focus is on planning, design, and maintenance of airside infrastructure, both in Denmark and internationally. We collaborate with sister departments across Ramboll, working on projects worldwide, forming the Ramboll Aviation Global Service Line. You'll be part of a diverse, international team engaged in airport projects throughout the project cycle—from planning, concept, and detailed design to construction. Your future colleagues boast extensive experience in Master Planning, Geometric Design, Pavement Design, AGL Design, tender document preparation, construction supervision, and maintenance of airside assets.

Our projects span from Antarctica in the South to Greenland in the North and globally in locations like the Caribbean, UK, India, Scandinavia, United States, Europe, APAC, and more.

Your most important tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Outreach to potential clients such as airports, concessionaires, authorities, etc.
• Developing and maintaining excellent client relationships
• Developing long-term opportunities with clients
• Leading proposal preparation
• Using and enhancing our CRM system
• Formulating and conveying feedback to project team members, contributing to maintaining high quality in business development and proposal preparation
• Serving as a role model for our less experienced colleagues

About you:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as engineering
• Experience in airport engineering projects and/or airport operations, preferably on airside projects
• Experience in multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
• 10+ years of experience in the aviation industry
• Experience in a Business Development role
• Extensive network within the aviation industry, particularly among airports and airport concessionaires
• Proficient in leading proposal preparation, managing client requirements and internal processes
• Proactive, dedicated, and flexible (travel required)
• Excellent communication skills—professional level English required; additional languages are a plus

Success in this position demands strong communication skills and exceptional stakeholder management. Independently working with enthusiasm and proactivity is crucial. You are expected to actively contribute to the department's growth by guiding less experienced colleagues and seeking new projects through dialogue with clients and your network.
