To lead this exciting new chapter, we are looking for an experienced and driven Footwear Sales Manager to join our family.

The Role

As our Footwear Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of launching and growing this new category. You will take ownership of sales strategy, build strong relationships, and drive performance across markets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and enjoys leading with energy and confidence. Someone who gets things done and brings people along for the journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial launch and expansion of RAINS Footwear across key markets, with a strong focus on France.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships across retail segments and regions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with RAINS’ overall business goals.
  • Build awareness for RAINS Footwear in France and contribute to expanding sales activities using our segmentation model.

Your Primary Tasks

  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts through structured daily planning.
  • Implement SIS and soft shops with key independents and relevant department stores.
  • Represent RAINS Footwear at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.
  • Train and educate the customer base in the RAINS concept.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team in HQ on branding and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Retail teams to ensure alignment and impact.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members in Southern Europe and Denmark.
  • Delegate operational tasks effectively while maintaining accountability for results.
  • Stay up to date with best practices within RAINS and the broader market.

Your Profile

You are a natural leader with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for innovation. You are structured, analytical, and motivated by results. You enjoy working at speed, solving problems, and inspiring others to do their best. You communicate with confidence and clarity — and you bring ambition and execution into everything you do.

We imagine you have:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably within footwear, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within wholesale.
  • A strategic and analytical approach to business development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive, fast-paced working style with a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to handle both operational and tactical tasks.
  • Fluency in French & English (additional languages are a plus).

This is a full-time position, and you will be reporting to the Sales Director.
