Communications Intern — Autumn 2026

We are now looking for a Communications Intern who is curious about brand storytelling and eager to learn how communication works in a global company. You will get hands-on experience with content creation and day-to-day communication tasks, while becoming part of a supportive team that values collaboration, learning, and creativity.

The Role

As a Communications Intern at Rains, you’ll be actively involved in shaping our brand narrative by creating engaging, brand-aligned content for external platforms, email marketing, social media, and campaign messaging. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to conduct interviews with internal teams, talent, and photographers, ensuring our messaging is authentic, compelling, and resonates with our audience.

Your overall Responsibility

Furthermore, tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Supporting PR initiatives through research, drafting press releases, event support, and monitoring media trends.
• Contributing to the development of an editorial and cultural calendar to ensure timely and relevant content across platforms.
• Supporting creative development for product launches, collaborations, and seasonal collections.
• Assisting in the development of the brand’s tone of voice.
• Writing captions, scripts, and ensuring consistent messaging across digital platforms.
• Collaborating with marketing, creative, and PR teams to align messaging and support campaign rollouts.
• Supporting the Communications team with content performance tracking and learnings across digital platforms.

Who We Imagine You Are

We are looking for a candidate who shows a proactive attitude, who is eager to learn, and wants to develop professional skills. You have a passion for branding, corporate communication, and storytelling, and can engage and inspire through strong messaging.

Furthermore, we expect that you:

• Are currently studying communications, literature, journalism, or a related field.
• Are an excellent written communicator who pays attention to details.
• Have strong research skills and an interest in fashion and the media landscape.
• Have a creative approach to brand communications and storytelling.
• Are fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Are confident in presenting your work.

The position is full-time with your workplace being at our beautiful headquarters in Lisbjerg, Aarhus N, Denmark. You will report to the Communications Manager. The internship is unpaid.
