The Opportunity

We’re expanding our Financial Lines team in the Nordics and are looking for an experienced Professional Indemnity (PI) and/or Financial Lines Underwriter to join us.

This role arrives at an exciting time for QBE, as we continue to grow our global footprint and diversify our portfolio globally as well as across the Nordic region.

Your New Role

  • Underwriting Professional Indemnity and/or Financial Lines risks aligned with our business plan and authority levels
  • Identity, drive and negotiate terms for new business, while also managing existing renewals
  • Issuing contract certainty documentation
  • Ensuring accurate risk recording and compliance with internal and external guidelines and regulations
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with brokers, customers, and partners across the Nordic region
  • Monitoring market developments to optimize performance and competitiveness and to
  • Contributing to portfolio analysis and the delivery of the annual business plan by bringing an analytical and strategic mindset to safeguard and grow the portfolio
  • Sharing insights and best practices within the team and participating in key meetings
  • Keeping expertise current through continuous learning and development
  • Promoting QBE’s brand and values in all interactions

About You

  • You possess a well-established track record in PI and/or Financial Lines underwriting or broking
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • An outgoing, service-oriented approach to building relationships
  • High attention to detail combined with a pragmatic commercial view
  • Professional proficiency in Danish or Swedish, plus English
