Your New Role
In this role, you will:
Take ownership of underwriting Marine business across the Nordics, balancing commercial judgement with regulatory and risk discipline
Play an active role in shaping and delivering the Nordic underwriting strategy as the portfolio continues to grow
Use reinsurance solutions to protect performance and support a sustainable, well-balanced book
Build trusted relationships with brokers, clients, and internal partners across the region
Collaborate with colleagues across QBE to share insight, ideas, and best practice
Act as an ambassador for QBE’s Marine proposition in the Nordic market
Keep your technical expertise and market knowledge current as the Marine landscape evolves
Maintain high standards of risk recording, governance, and compliance throughout the underwriting lifecycle
About You
Experience in Marine Cargo insurance, gained in an underwriting or brokerage environment
A structured, detail focused approach, with confidence handling complex risks
Strong relationship building skills and the ability to communicate clearly with brokers and stakeholders
Comfortable negotiating and making balanced commercial decisions
An interest in developing your technical expertise and market understanding over time
Professional fluency in English, with Danish or Swedish language skills
