Job summary

This is a fully remote internship for individuals interested in policy research, human rights, governance, international relations, law, and public policy. The internship lasts for 8 weeks and is aimed at students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals.

Qualifications

  • Open to Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral students.
  • Recent graduates or alumni from recognized universities.
  • Early-career professionals with an interest in research and policy analysis.
  • Background in law, human rights, international relations, political science, public policy, governance, social sciences, management, business, economics, education, environmental studies, medicine, engineering, or related fields.
  • Proficient written English.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Strong commitment to meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews on approved topics related to policy, legal, human rights, governance, or international relations.
  • Prepare research summaries, issue notes, and analytical briefs.
  • Participate in online supervision sessions as needed.
  • Draft a research paper, policy brief, or analytical report under supervision.
  • Revise written work based on feedback and adhere to research standards.
  • Meet deadlines in a remote working environment.
  • Follow ethical research practices, citation rules, and maintain academic integrity.

Skills

  • Strong analytical writing skills.
  • Interest in policy research and related areas.
  • Ability to follow research methodologies and incorporate supervisor feedback.

Education

  • No prior research publication experience required; candidates will receive training in research methodology followed by a writing phase.
