Are you Playdead's new IT Support Student Worker?
Playdead is an independent games studio known for producing two award-winning games, LIMBO and INSIDE. Both have received critical acclaim from critics and fans worldwide.
Today, we are more than 100 employees with a wide range of creative and business backgrounds.
We are searching for a skilled student assistant to support our IT team with setting up hardware and software for our development department. You will be given high responsibility, independence, and skilled colleagues to work with and learn from.
Working hours will be approx. 15 hours per week in our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
What will you be doing?
- Building high-end game development PCs for new hires and for existing employees who need upgrades
- Build spare game development PCs from used components
- Transferring PC components from PC cases to racked cases
- Troubleshooting basic software and hardware related issues
- Organizing and upkeep of storage and working areas
Who are you?
- You are currently a student in Denmark and studying for your bachelors or masters degree with at least 18 months before you graduate
- Knowledge of computer hardware components
- Knowledge of installing and troubleshooting Windows 11
- You have an interest in technology, business and the creative industry
- You have an interest in the computer games industry is also an advantage but not a requirement
- You can communicate clearly in English
If you have knowledge of these areas then it would be a bonus
- Fundamental networking troubleshooting
- Version control
- G-Suite
