Qualifications

  • Interest in parameterized algorithms, approximation algorithms, and linear programming methods is essential.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in research related to parameterized algorithms and approximation algorithms.
  • Collaborate with the principal investigator and other team members on the project.

Skills

  • Knowledge of linear programming methods, including primal-dual arguments and rounding algorithms, is advantageous.
  • Experience in polyhedral combinatorics is a plus but not mandatory.

Education

  • A master's degree (or equivalent) is required for the 5+3 PhD program, or completion of the first year of a master's program for the 4+4 PhD program.

Tools

  • Familiarity with mathematical and algorithmic tools relevant to the research topics is beneficial.
