Student Assistant – Laboratory Support at Orbis Medicines

Orbis Medicines is a biotechnology startup focused on developing oral macrocycle drugs, aiming to provide patient-friendly alternatives to injectable biologics. We are currently +40 employees and expanding our team, so we are looking for a structured and reliable Student Assistant 8 hours a week to support daily laboratory operations across multiple departments. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional lab environment alongside your studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support general maintenance of laboratory operations across departments
• Ordering and re-stocking of consumables and laboratory supplies
• Basic equipment maintenance and coordination of service when needed
• Handling and proper disposal of GMO waste in accordance with safety regulations
• Assisting with general lab organization and operational tasks

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a BSc or MSc student at a Danish university
• Preferably at least 1 year remaining of your studies
• Preferably studying within biology, chemistry, or a related field
• Structured, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment
• Must be eligible to work in Denmark
