Interested in a career that matters?

Do you want hands-on experience with real-world supply chain data—while helping a global organization become even more data driven? Join Global Warehouse, Logistics and Orders Data & Analytics in Lyngby, where you’ll support how data is created, structured, analyzed, and turned into actionable insights across Warehouse, Logistics, and Order-to-Cash.

We are a small, hands-on team of four analysts and two student assistants. We build and maintain data models, reporting, and analytics tools that support key supply chain processes. Working closely with colleagues in global and regional supply chain teams and with our Global Competence Center (GCC) in Bangalore, India, we turn complex data into clear, data-driven insights that help optimize processes and strengthen decision-making.

The role & your impact

As our new Student Assistant in Global Warehouse, Logistics and Orders Data & Analytics, you will work closely with experienced analysts and supply chain stakeholders and contribute to improving data quality, transparency, and decision-making.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting data collection, validation, and preparation across supply chain domains using tools such as KNIME, Snowflake, and Power BI.

  • Assisting in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytical insights (e.g., in Power BI).

  • Helping document data models, definitions, and process flows to improve transparency and data quality.

  • Performing ad hoc analyses to support decision-making for supply chain teams.

  • Supporting automation and improvement initiatives within data and analytics workflows.

  • Collaborating with supply chain, IT, and analytics colleagues across regions.

Note: The exact responsibilities will evolve based on your skills, interests, and academic focus.

What you’ll need to be successful

To thrive in this role, we imagine you:

  • Are currently  enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program within Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field, with at least one year remaining in your studies

  • Have a strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in data-driven decision-making and supply chain processes

  • Have basic experience with data and analytics tools (e.g. Excel, KNIME, Snowflake, Power BI, SQL or similar)

  • Have the ability to structure information and communicate insights clearly to different stakeholders

  • Are comfortable learning new systems, collaborating across teams, and working in English on a daily basis

Additional skills & interests we value

It’s a plus (but not required) if you:

  • Have worked with Power BI beyond the basics (e.g., data modeling, DAX, advanced visuals).

  • Have experience with SQL querying and/or data pipelines in tools like KNIME.

  • Are familiar with supply chain data concepts (KPIs, master data, process flows)

  • Enjoy improving ways of working through automation and continuous improvement.

What we offer

  • Hands-on experience with real supply chain data and analytics challenges.

  • Exposure to global supply chain operations and decision-making.

  • Close collaboration with experienced supply chain and analytics professionals.

  • Flexible working hours to support your studies.

  • Opportunity to build a strong professional network and relevant career skills.
