Are you a student looking for a meaningful part‑time job alongside your studies? At Novonesis, we use biology to create solutions that benefit people and the planet. You’ll join Production Strain Technology (PST) — a team working with microbial production strains that support efficient and scalable enzyme manufacturing.

As a Student Assistant, you’ll be part of a small, friendly group of 2–3 student assistants, working closely together and supporting the daily lab work that keeps our R&D activities running smoothly.

The Role & Your Impact

This role is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a real R&D laboratory while supporting important day‑to‑day tasks. Your work helps ensure that the lab is well organised and ready for scientific work.

Your key responsibilities in this role

  • Restocking laboratory supplies

  • Preparing basic laboratory stock solutions

  • Cleaning laboratory equipment, such as laminar flow benches and other larger equipment

  • Helping with smaller tasks as needed to support the team

What you’ll need to be successful in this role

We imagine that you:

  • Are in your 3rd-5th semesters as an university student in biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field

  • Are reliable and take responsibility for your tasks

  • Enjoy working in a team and coordinating weekly tasks with other student assistants

  • Are comfortable following instructions and working in a laboratory environment

Additional skills & interests we value

It’s a plus if you:

  • Have some experience from a laboratory setting

  • Are curious about biotechnology, fermentation, or enzyme production

  • Like practical, hands‑on work and contributing to a well‑functioning lab

Working Conditions

  • Working hours: Approx. 8 hours per week, preferably weekdays between 08:00–16:00

  • Location: On‑site in Bagsværd

  • Environment: R&D laboratory setting

  • The role includes light physical tasks such as cleaning and handling lab materials
