Welcome to Product Design & Application team …. 

We are a vital part of Human Health Biosolutions (HHB), and we specialize in identifying and creating science-based biosolutions for our customers, focusing on the formulation, implementation, and troubleshooting of various dosage forms containing pre-, post-, probiotics as well as enzymes. We develop innovative products, both with and without additional nutrients, produce consumer samples, and scale up product manufacturing. 

Our team consists of 16 members - 14 academics and 2 technicians - ranging from newly graduated to highly experienced professionals, including pharmacists, food scientists, and biotechnology engineers. We are driven, self-motivated, and energetic, with a strong passion for teamwork, and a great sense of humor. 

The position is part-time and expected weekly hours of 10-15 which could be split over 2-3 days. 

In this role you’ll make an impact by: 

Supporting our development work by handling stability data, ad hoc administrative tasks and supportive tasks in the laboratory. In addition to these tasks you will support our teams on other ad-hoc tasks based on various incoming requests. 

These tasks may include: 

• Extract data from stability studies. 

• Arrange sample shipments. 

• Assist with small lab scale productions. 

• Cleaning of laboratory rooms and equipment. 

• Archiving documents. 

• Organizing digital archives and collaboration hubs. 

• Ensuring inventory. 

• Secure good collaboration with colleagues in team, department and cross functionally. 

• And many other tasks. 

To succeed you must: 

• Be a bachelor’s student at university with a relevant background e.g. Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science, or Food Engineering. Positive attitude and proactive mindset when it comes to tasks and responsibilities 

• Have the ability to work systematically and independently. 

• Have good English communication skills
