Join us as our Product Launch Manager, Oils and Fats Biosolutions
We are hiring a launch manager to drive new product development projects toward product launch for our Oils & Fats Business Unit. In Oils & Fats, we work with transforming vegetable and waste oils into food, oleochemicals and biodiesel using enzymes.
Welcome to the Oils and Fats Group
Our team is composed of experienced commercial and technical professionals working closely together to develop enzymatic processes to produce specialty fats, biodiesel, and oleochemicals. We support customers with refining, fuel, and food-related applications and contribute directly to sustainability goals delivering processes that reduce carbon and energy intensity. You will work in close collaboration with our application scientists and global sales teams to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Taking full ownership of end‑to‑end launch planning, from project maturation to successful commercial rollout.
Translating technical developments into compelling value propositions that resonate with customers in food, oleochemicals, and biodiesel markets.
Developing and implementing structured launch processes, tools, and best practices that support predictable and high‑quality product introductions.
Continuously optimizing ways of working based on learnings from previous launches and stakeholder feedback.
Coordinating cross‑functional teams—including R&D, application experts, regional marketing, sales, and supply chain—to ensure timelines, quality standards, and commercial objectives are met.
Providing guidance and training to colleagues involved in new product development and commercialization efforts.
Promoting a culture of accountability, transparent communication, and cross‑team alignment.
To succeed you must:
Have at least 3 years of experience in business development, managing new product development in a B2B context—preferably in an industrial process–driven industry
Hold a master’s degree in business, science, or engineering
Experience collaborating with technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders in complex environments.
A proven ability to manage multi‑phase innovation or product introduction projects with clear results.
Skilled in conducting market analyses, identifying customer needs, and mapping competitive landscapes.
Able to build strong business cases, including financial modeling, pricing logic, and value‑proposition development.
Comfortable engaging with customers and translating insights into market‑driven product positioning.
Strong communication skills that ensure stakeholders—from senior leadership to technical experts—remain informed and engaged.
