We are now looking for an Industry Technology Specialist (ITS) to join our Industrials Technical Service team in Europe, based at our newly built Innovation Campus in Lyngby. In this role, you will work at the forefront of enzyme technology, supporting the transformation of the European vegetable oil and biodiesel industry toward more efficient and sustainable solutions.

You will become part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of 12 industry specialists who work closely with Sales and Marketing to turn cutting‑edge biotechnology into real customer impact.

The Role & Your Impact

As an Industry Technology Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing new and established enzyme technologies across customer plants in Europe. The role is hands‑on and customer‑facing, combining technical expertise with strong collaboration and communication.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating directly with customers to understand their processes and technical challenges
  • Supporting the implementation of enzyme solutions that reduce cost, energy consumption, and environmental impact
  • Delivering world‑class technical service in close cooperation with ITS colleagues and Account Managers
  • Translating technical data and insights into clear, customer‑relevant value propositions
  • Sharing industry insights internally and contributing to continuous improvement across the team
  • Providing technical training to customers and internal stakeholders

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

To thrive in this role, you bring a strong technical foundation combined with a genuine interest in customer engagement.

Must‑haves:

  • A university degree (M.Sc.) in vegetable oil technology, process engineering, biotechnology, or similar
  • Strong scientific and technical understanding relevant to oils and fats processing
  • Ability to translate complex technical insights into customer‑relevant value
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with both customers and internal stakeholders
  • A strong desire to work closely with customers and visit production plants
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Europe

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

While not required, the following will be considered strong assets:

  • Experience operating or managing biodiesel or vegetable oil plants
  • Hands‑on experience with enzyme applications within oils and fats processing
  • Additional language skills such as German or Spanish
  • A natural flair for delivering technical training and presentations

Ways of Working / Working Conditions

This role is based at our Innovation Campus in Lyngby and involves close collaboration with colleagues across Europe.

  • Close cooperation with Sales, Marketing, and fellow ITS colleagues
  • A mix of office‑based work, customer visits, and on‑site technical support
