Join us as our new Head of Global Rewards

As Head of Global Rewards, you will lead and shape the global rewards agenda at Novonesis, defining how we attract, retain, and reward talent across our international organization. Reporting directly to the EVP of People & Stakeholder Relations and serving as a key member of the P&O Leadership Team, you will own the end-to-end global compensation, benefits, and execution remuneration strategy. This is the most senior Rewards role in Novonesis, with direct impact on Executive Leadership and Board-level governance.

In this role you’ll make impact by:

  • Defining and executing a global rewards strategy aligned with our business ambitions, ensuring compensation and benefits directly support growth, performance, and transformation.
  • Leading executive and board-level remuneration governance, translating complex strategic priorities into scalable, data-driven solutions and providing trusted advisory to Executive Leadership and the Nomination & Remuneration Committee.
  • Building a modern global job architecture and pay framework, balancing global consistency with local market realities across multiple regions.
  • Driving post-merger rewards transformation, simplifying and harmonizing legacy structures while increasing transparency and fairness.
  • Digitizing and optimizing rewards processes, partnering closely with People Tech to strengthen systems, analytics, and automation in areas such as Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and pay transparency, proactively addressing evolving EU regulations and listed company requirements, including remuneration reporting.

     

To succeed you must hold:

  • Extensive global Rewards leadership experience (10+ years) in a multinational environment, including executive compensation and listed company governance.
  • Direct exposure to Remuneration Committee and Board-level processes, with the confidence to engage, challenge, and advise senior stakeholders using data and insight.
  • Proven experience leading a global Rewards function, with people leadership responsibility across regions and complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Strong transformation and simplification capability, with a track record of rebuilding, harmonizing, or modernizing rewards frameworks in complex organizations.
  • Deep understanding of pay transparency, equal pay, and regulatory requirements, ideally including EU implementation experience.
