We have an ambitious growth agenda in early life and specialized nutrition and need an experienced manager position to head the Commercial Development team.

Welcome to the Early life and specialized nutrition (ELSN) business in Novonesis.

The Commercial Development team powers growth in Early life and specialized nutrition by activating our full HMO, probiotic and precision protein portfolio through insight-led market communication, compelling scientific and commercial narratives, and expert external engagement and advocacy.

The team enable the sales regions to drive customer engagement and unlocking growth through our product portfolio. The team consists of four people beside the Head of Commercial Development – two commercial business developers and two scientific advisors.

The team supports Novonesis’ purpose by bettering our world with biology in early life nutrition and specialized nutrition. We continue to expand our portfolio of solutions that enable our customers to differentiate in the market.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

  • Owning the commercial activation and market execution for the ELN/SN segments across commercialized HMO, probiotics and precision protein ingredients

  • Developing and executing the commercial and scientific narrative, positioning and global marketing plays for existing product portfolio across segments

  • Building and deepening market intelligence and consumer insights across key categories

  • Driving Customer engagement: Represent the category externally by delivering expert presentations at trade shows, webinars, and key customer meetings, supporting sales engagement and category credibility.

  • Transforming innovations developed by the Portfolio Innovation team into clear, market-ready value propositions, communication tools, and customer-facing materials

  • Driving KOL strategy and supporting the team in co-developing scientific papers.

  • Securing continuous feedback flow between customers, Regional Sales & Marketing teams, Science & Innovation and Operations to inform ongoing portfolio improvements and future innovation.

  • Accountable for content and execution (in collaboration with the Global Marketing team) to create and execute marketing communication content including trade shows/conferences, marketing materials, social media and webinars.

To succeed you must hold:

  • Higher education at Master’s level in Business alternatively relevant scientific background (nutrition and health) with commercial experience.

  • +5-7 years of industry experience from a global infant formula manufacturer in marketing, commercial development or commercial R&D positions, or commercial role in an ingredient supplier.

  • Strategic mindset.

  • Experienced people manager.

  • Can-do attitude.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in matrix organizations.

  • Ability to travel approximately 15-20 days per year.

Location: Hørsholm, Denmark, or one of our international offices.
