You will lead key financial processes, deliver insights that guide resource allocation, and influence performance across critical metrics while collaborating with senior leadership in a dynamic global environment.

Business Finance plays a critical role in enabling Novonesis’ purpose by providing insights and driving decision making that shape our strategic direction. The Business Finance Human Health BioSolutions team partners closely with commercial leaders to ensure profitable growth and resource allocation aligned with our priorities. In this role you will make an impact by:

As a Finance Business Partner for Human Health Biosolutions, you will act as a strategic co-pilot and sparring partner to senior leaders, influencing financial and strategic decisions across innovation, category development, and clinical investments. You will drive financial governance of the innovation pipeline, ensuring transparency and prioritization of science investments linked to commercial impact. Furthermore, you will anchor P&L ownership and focus on sustainable improvement initiatives, leading performance dialogues to safeguard optimal resource allocation across both VP areas. You will also be responsible for executing core financial processes, including monthly performance reviews and annual budgeting. 

In addition, some of your key tasks will include: 

• Supporting continuous improvement in business processes, pricing, and market insights. 
• Contributing to business development activities and customer negotiations to optimize profitability. 
• Assisting with contract negotiations and strategic projects. 
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver actionable insights. 
• Serving as an active member of the leadership teams and the Business Finance HHB team. 

Collaboration is key to our success, as you will work closely with the SVP of Early Life & Specialized Nutrition and VP of Science & Innovation, their leadership teams, and various cross-functional partners. Your ability to build strong partnerships will enable data-driven decisions that enhance our strategic initiatives. 

To succeed you must hold:

• A Master’s degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance roles with exposure to senior leadership. 
• Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering within a commercial or global business environment. 
• Strong financial acumen, including business case development and stakeholder management skills. 
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus. 

Additionally, we expect you to demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a changing environment, with a self-driven approach that allows you to constructively challenge the status quo. Your ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team will be essential for success. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to build robust relationships across various teams. You will be expected to embody the Novonesis culture commitments in your daily work.  Travel for e.g. leadership meetings with expected 2-4 trips yearly
