Join us as our new Cloud Data Platform Engineer

Our platform engineering team is growing, and we a looking for a new colleague to help us develop and maintain our existing cloud data platform offerings and expand their capabilities.

Welcome to the Novonesis Data Office

Together we deliver key data and analytics platforms for the company built on cloud technologies, including a platform for Citizen Data Analytics based on AWS, Kubernetes, Snowflake and Power BI services. Our platforms and solutions are used by analysts and data scientists across the company to deliver insights and support decision making in a wide array of functions.

We are also responsible for the development and maintenance of Machine Learning and Generative AI platforms based on Databricks, AWS, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure AI services so experience with or interest in these technologies is a benefit.

We work as a platform and infrastructure team in close collaboration with our main stakeholders who build data products, ML solutions, reports and visualizations on top of our platforms. We also work closely with the other Data Office teams to deliver our solutions and services in a unified way.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Maintaining a robust and mature cloud-based data- and analytics platform with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization.

• Participating in the ongoing development, including our ongoing integration of Microsoft Fabric technologies into the platform.

• Supporting individual users and teams in their daily use of the platform and related tools.

To succeed you must hold:

• Professional Bachelor or B.Sc. in IT, Computer Science or a related quantitative fields.

• A proactive mindset for automation and streamlining of infrastructure and operational tasks using infrastructure-as-code methods.

• The desire to work closely together with technical and non-technical colleagues in a team-based setup.

• Experience with scripting in Python, Powershell, SQL or similar languages.

• Experience with cloud technologies from AWS and/or Azure, and tools like Terraform is a plus. 

Location: The primary location is Hørsholm, but there is also an option to work from our IT Hub in Copenhagen.
