At Cellerator, your work helps reach patients. We’re a philanthropic organisation founded and funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, dedicated to turning cell-based therapies into treatments for people who need them.

As a Process & Analytical Technician (PAS), you’ll support a range of cell therapy projects through hands-on process and analytical development. You’ll plan and execute lab work, help keep projects on track, and generate high-quality data that informs development decisions.

We’re growing quickly and building something meaningful from the ground up. In this role, you’ll do more than run experiments - you’ll help shape how we work, how we document, and how we deliver in a scale-up environment where your input makes a real difference.

What you’ll do

Execution & project support:

  • Perform laboratory activities to support cell therapy projects (e.g., media preparation, cell culture, cell counting, and routine analyses).
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute lab tasks to meet project milestones.
  • Work closely with Senior Scientists and internal stakeholders to support process optimisation and analytical assays development.
  • Support multiple projects in parallel, prioritising effectively to deliver on time and within scope.
  • Occasional weekend work may be needed, depending on project needs and cell culture schedules.

Process & analytical development:

  • Contribute to troubleshooting and improving processes and analytical assays.
  • Perform analyses such as flow cytometry, PCR-based methods, and ELISA, depending on project needs.
  • Analyse and interpret data to support decision-making and development strategy.
  • Support qualification of analytical assays and prepare related documentation.
  • Support generation of data packages to inform Phase I development activities.

Laboratory operations & compliance:

  • Maintain strong aseptic technique and support day-to-day lab readiness (e.g., reagent supply, equipment checks, and coordination of calibration and maintenance).
  • Document work in the Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and follow applicable QMS procedures and documentation standards.
  • Follow Cellerator’s Health & Safety policies and contribute to a safe, well-organised lab.

What you bring

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a research or industry laboratory/manufacturing environment (experience with biologics or cell therapies is an advantage).
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture.
  • Familiarity with analytical techniques such as flow cytometry, PCR-based methods, and/or ELISA is advantageous.
  • Comfort working in a structured environment with clear documentation requirements; experience with ELN/QMS is a bonus.
  • Strong IT skills, including data analysis tools (e.g., GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, or similar).
  • Experience supporting equipment calibration and maintenance, and maintaining effective stock and reagent control.

Who you are

  • Quality-conscious and detail-oriented, with a structured approach to lab work.
  • Motivated by delivering reliable data that helps move projects forward.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • A clear communicator who enjoys teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Able to manage several tasks at once, prioritise well, and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Curious about cell therapies and motivated by work with real-world impact.

Life at Cellerator

Built with you, not before you. We’re a scale-up, so our processes, culture, and ways of working are still taking shape. You won’t inherit a rigid playbook—you’ll help create it.

Work well, sustainably. We take work–life balance seriously and aim for a supportive, enjoyable workplace. Good science happens when people feel trusted, supported, and able to do their best work.

Flat by design. We work across teams rather than in silos. Whether you’re collaborating with GMP production, academic partners, or leadership, your perspective matters. We prioritise partnership over hierarchy.

Backed, but independent. The Novo Nordisk Foundation provides the stability and credibility to deliver on our mission. At the same time, our culture and direction are distinctly our own, and we move with the pace and spirit of a scale-up.
