We are looking for a colleague to manage the Foundation’s grant reporting practices serving as the foundational layer for monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) and information sourcing for impact communication. If you are enthusiastic about MEL, and you thrive being highly organised and continuously engage with many internal and external stakeholders, enabling fit-for purpose reporting at large scale, then you are a perfect fit for the role. 

You will join the Impact Management team, which works across the full grant value chain, from early initiative design to long-term outcomes and impact evaluation. We support colleagues in strengthening impact pathways, monitoring, evaluation and learning, and generating insights about the impact of the Foundation’s funding. 

We are revising our reporting systems to strengthen the dialogue between grantees and the Foundation that meets grantees’ in their reality, improves our own premises for MEL-practices, and strengthens our impact communication. You will join during an extraordinary transformation of the Foundation’s reporting approach and will be involved in every aspect of reporting for MEL- and impact communication purposes. 

Ideally your responsibility will include: 

  • Internal project lead/coordinator (point of contact) for implementation of new system approach for MEL data collection  
  • Co-develop reporting policies for the Foundation’s +3000 active grants to effectively maintain an overall NNF flexible approach to collecting information from grants (content owner of reporting and reporting design) Develop onboarding information for new grantees 
  • Maintain dialogue with internal stakeholders around MEL needs, and communication with external stakeholders 
  • Support and enable the organisation in accessing and using reporting data for MEL. 

Professional Qualifications 

We are looking for candidates who meet several of the following criteria: 

  • A relevant master’s degree or higher, preferably in social sciences, global health, public policy, development studies, evaluation, or a related relevant field, e.g. within engineering. 
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, including: 
  • Documented experience with complex project and process management. 
  • Experience practicing or supporting MEL reporting, for example in a grant-making or grant-receiving organization. 
  • Experience with survey design, data planning, and collecting accurate information 
  • Strong understanding of programme and large-scale project evaluation, impact assessment, and MEL. 
  • Good understanding of the potential role of data science and AI in reporting, as well as technical understanding of user needs and reporting systems.
