Junior Analyst for Novo Holdings' Capital Investments team

Novo Holdings’ Capital Investments (CI) is looking for Junior Analysts to join the investment team. Our incoming Junior Analysts will have the opportunity to either be dedicated to the Direct Public Equity & Credit team, the Real Assets team or the PE & VC team all based at our headquarter in Hellerup. Please state your team preference clearly in your application. 

About Capital Investments 

CI oversees investments outside the life sciences sector, including listed equities, credits & bonds, private equity & venture capital funds and real assets. With a team of 20 investment professionals, CI plays a pivotal role in managing approximately 50% of Novo Holdings’ investable assets and is poised for significant growth in the years to come.  

The Junior Analyst dedicated to the Public Equity & Credit team will gain exposure to fundamental analysis across our concentrated equity and credit strategies.  

The Junior Analyst dedicated to the Real Assets investment team will gain hands-on experience with all investment types – including funds, co-investments, and direct investments – across real estate, infrastructure, and the green transition.  

The Junior Analyst dedicated to the PE & VC team will gain exposure to manager selection within the private equity and venture capital landscape and further support the team with select co-investments. 

The Role 

As a Junior Analyst you will contribute to investment analyses and portfolio management across the portfolio. Responsibilities include:  

• Conducting commercial and financial analysis  

• Collecting, structuring, analysing and presenting information to form the foundation for potential investments in companies and investment managers  

• Assist in monitoring existing investments and industries  

Together with 3-4 other Junior Analysts, you will join a strong team of investment professionals with experience from leading investment institutions. As part of your learning and development, you will receive continuous feedback and engage in sparring with the team. 

The workload will be approximately 20 hours a week with flexibility in relation to your studies.  

Qualifications 

We are ideally looking for candidates who: 

• Are on the 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree (HA Almen, International Business, Economics or equivalent) and plan to enrol in a master’s program within finance and/or strategy (FIR, FSM, FIN, OECON, AEF, Economics or equivalent) 

• Have achieved excellent academic results and are ranked top their class  

• Possess strong verbal and written skills in English  

• Have experience with the MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint 

• Have a passion for investments and are motived to learn about the different asset classes
