About our team

 

Meet Default Management team in SD High Risk and SD C & I. Our role is to support the lending business by providing data solutions for ongoing loan servicing and monitoring.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Work with stakeholders in Business to turn their business problems into fit for purpose data solutions
  • Take ownership of delivery from requirements to production
  • Take ownership of designing and building data models and data pipelines
  • Set a high standard for what you deliver, prioritizing long-term reliability, stability, and maintainability over quick fixes
  • Stay current with AI assisted development and adopt AI to increase efficiency, maintainability, and reliability

 

This role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

You'll be responsible for:

 

This is the right role for you if you want to participate in building large-scale data solutions and build solutions that stand the test of time using AI, to do it faster, better and cheaper.

 

  • You don’t wait for detailed specifications – you proactively understand the business domain and ask the right questions to clarify the requirements
  • You take ownership of the full lifecycle – from design to implementation and testing – and stand by the solutions you deliver
  • You understand what good looks like in data warehousing and build accordingly
  • You care about long-term maintainability over short-term fixes
  • You use AI as a tool to improve productivity, quality, and speed

 

Your background and skills include:

  • Strong experience in data engineering and data warehousing, building large-scale data solutions. You know what good looks like in modern data warehousing
  • Ability to design data warehouse solutions, with a focus on simplicity and maintainability
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, DataStage
  • Comfortable taking full ownership from requirements to production
  • Eager to understand the business domain so that you can turn their problems into robust and maintainable data solutions
  • Solid experience with CI/CD, pipeline orchestration, and modern data engineering practices

 

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Experience with AI and how AI can support development and operations of large-scale data solutions
  • Interest in modern data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, Airflow)
