Would you like to be part of a larger resilience initiative impacting how Nordea governs and implements activities to strengthen its ICT risks (Information Security, Technology Operations & Business Continuity) We are looking for an IT Project Lead to take ownership of driving deliveries within one of the workstreams under the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) programme in Nordea.

 

About this opportunity

 

As the Senior Strategic Partner, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the activities within your assigned workstream to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. You will play a key role in translating programme objectives into concrete outcomes for your workstream, supported by subject matter experts and stakeholders across Technology, Group Operational Risk and the Business Areas.

 

To succeed in this role, you must be a proactive self-starter with strong execution skills and a hands-on approach to driving deliveries and ensuring progress. You take ownership of your workstream end-to-end, ensuring that plans are executed with precision and quality. You are comfortable structuring complex deliveries into clear and actionable steps, keeping momentum and holding yourself and others accountable for results.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and coordinate the activities within your assigned workstream, ensuring alignment with overall programme objectives and timelines.
  • Translate programme goals into actionable plans, manage progress, and ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, and other workstream leads to secure input, remove blockers and drive progress.
  • Prepare and present updates, status reports, and communication material for management and stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and issues within the workstream, escalating when needed to ensure progress.
  • Apply a structured and organized approach, ensuring activities are executed in line with frameworks and expectations.
  • Support a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement within the workstream.

 

The role is based in Helsinki, Copenhagen (Taastrup office), Stockholm (Lindhagen office).

Your experience and background:

  • Experience in leading or coordinating IT projects, workstreams, or similar initiatives in complex environments.
  • Background from ICT, risk, resilience, or related areas.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
