About the role
We are looking for experienced manager to join our Business Finance department. Business Finance consists of around 45 and 15 highly skilled and motivated employees in Denmark and India, respectively.
 
The department consists of a Project Cost Management team and a Financial Planning & Analytics team and is working very closely with both other Project Controls areas as well as line of business to support good decision making in both the projects and in NNE as an organisation.
 
You will be leading the Project Cost Management team consisting of around 20 Senior Project controllers and Project controllers in Denmark, who are key in controlling both the largest execution projects as well as smaller projects in NNE.
 
In Business Finance, we engage and interact with a large variety of stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Regardless of which of these many stakeholders we face, our ambition is to take a partner position and provide them with data driven insights that enable them to make good decisions. This requires a proactive mindset and positive approach to solving tasks and a high level of flexibility.
 
The place of work for this position will be our Headquarter in Virum, but you can expect weekly trips to our site in Kalundborg as a part of your team and our customer will be located there.

How you might spend your days
As Manager, you'll be working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary organization where your daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage and lead a team of around 20 people from junior to senior-level across Virum and Kalundborg, acting ad mentor and coach for the team members
  • Lead strategic initiatives within the team as well as across several disciplines
  • Resource planning and hiring to secure right competencies in the team
  • Continuously develop the team and its deliverables to be able to support our projects and project pipeline in the best possible way
  • Drive optimization and improvement initiatives, including strengthening our processes and systems to deliver data driven cost performance insights to our stakeholders
  • As part of our team is based in India, occasional travelling to our Indian office can be expected

What you bring to the role

  • Relevant educational background, preferably within Economics or Engineering
  • Extensive experience within Cost controlling procedures, forecasting and monthly reporting to customers
  • Proven leadership experience in leading a medium sized team and building/creating a high-performing team culture
  • Proven track record of delivering data driven insights to support decision making in the Line of Business
  • Knowledge of PIMS, D365 F&O, SAP, Excel, Power points an advance
