At Nexi, we’re shaping the future of digital payments across Europe, and sales is at the core of our growth. We're now looking for a Team Leader to take charge of one of our high-performing outbound telesales teams and elevate it to the next level.

About the Role

We're looking for an ISV Platform Designer (entry-mid level) to join our Design team at Nexi Group. You'll design user interfaces and experiences for our ISV platform - a technical product built with micro-frontend architecture that enables ISVs to integrate payment capabilities into their applications.

This is product design work with technical depth: you'll design modular UI components that work across distributed systems, create partner business tools (dashboards, analytics, account management), and work in an outcome-focused product operating model. You'll collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, and researchers in an embedded squad structure, receiving mentorship from a Senior Product Designer. What You'll Do

1. Map Complex Logic & Systems 

Before pixels hit the screen, you’ll help the team visualize how things work. You’ll use system diagramming and service blueprinting to map out complex logic flows. Because our platform is modular, you will often need to visualize how data moves between systems and how different partner configurations affect the user journey. You’ll use these diagrams to align your squad and ensure everyone understands the "under the hood" logic before moving into high-fidelity design.

2. Design Scalable UI Systems & Modular Architectures 

You’ll design modular UI components and interface patterns for our ISV platform. The challenge is that components must work independently as plug-and-play modules while maintaining design coherence. You won't always know which specific features each ISV partner will implement, so you'll design flexible systems that scale across unknown integration scenarios. You’ll pair closely with engineers to understand how these modules compose into integrated experiences, thinking in patterns rather than single-path flows.

3. Design Partner Business Tools 

You’ll also design the concrete tools our partners use every day. This includes analytics dashboards showing integration performance, account management interfaces, and technical configuration tools for API credentials and webhooks. You'll turn technical complexity (like APIs and JSON structures) into clear, intuitive admin features that help partners manage and optimize their integrations.

4. Shape ISV Portfolio Expansion 

As our ISV portfolio grows, you'll design experiences for entirely new platform offerings and partner services. You'll work with product teams to bring new ISV products to market from scratch, establishing the foundational design patterns that will scale as we add more services to our ecosystem. Your work will directly define the "look and feel" of Nexi’s future platform growth and have long-term strategic impact.

5. Work in Product Operating Model (Discovery & Delivery) 

You'll work embedded within an ISV product squad in a structure that includes a Product Manager, Tech Lead, and Research/Insights Lead. We practice continuous discovery and delivery as a team, which means you’ll participate in research with partners to understand integration challenges before jumping to solutions. You’ll focus on outcomes like partner integration success rather than just shipping features, validating your designs through constant testing and iterating based on real-world evidence.

6. Grow with Mentorship 

You’ll work alongside a Senior Product Designer who'll provide mentorship, review your work, and help you navigate complex technical and systems design challenges. We value pairing and collaboration; you'll have the support you need to develop your skills in technical design, systems thinking, and modern product ways of working within a large-scale European PayTech leader.

Who You Are

You are a product designer who enjoys unraveling technical complexity and is excited to learn about distributed systems, modular UI orchestration, and modern product operating models.

You bring:

• 2–4 years of product design experience, ideally working on technical products, B2B platforms, or complex systems.
• Systems Thinking: You naturally design in patterns and reusable modules rather than one-off screens or single-path flows.
• Visual Logic & Diagramming: You can take a complex process and turn it into a clear system map or service blueprint to align your team.
• Technical Literacy: You have a basic understanding of (or a strong desire to learn) how backends work, including curiosity about APIs and JSON structures.
• Squad Collaboration: You thrive working daily in a cross-functional environment alongside Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers.
• Product Mindset: You are focused on outcomes and partner success, comfortable with continuous discovery, and eager to test assumptions with real data.
• Design Craft: You are proficient in Figma and experienced in working with (or contributing to) robust design systems.
• Comfort with Ambiguity: You can design confidently in evolving contexts and make progress even when information is incomplete.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Fintech, Payments, or Developer Experience (DevX).
• Knowledge of modular frontend architectures or distributed systems.
• Background in service design or journey mapping.
