As Head of Compliance Advisory, you will be a member of the leadership team of Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance, which is a department in the second line of defence. 

You will work in a collaborative and hands-on environment with a supportive atmosphere that emphasizes a good team dynamic and knowledge sharing. Being part of Nexi Group provides a network across Europe, offering opportunities to collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation. 

The position is in Ballerup, the Greater Copenhagen area, and offers hybrid ways of working, enabling flexibility in working hours and working place. 

Your key responsibilities in this role will be: 

• Lead a team of compliance professionals.
• Continuous development of the Compliance Advisory team, incl. development and implementation of compliance frameworks.
• Providing sound advice to business units and senior management.the  
• Being the point of contact for regulators. 
• Overseeing and performing compliance risk assessments.
• Play a key role in monitoring activities as well as reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors. 
• Liaise with Group Compliance on regulatory change programmes and framework setting

Capabilities needed to be successful in this role: 

• Experience in developing and implementing compliance frameworks.
• Regulatory expertise on financial services compliance topics (PSD2(3), AML/CTF, DORA in particular).
• Experience from interactions with regulators.
• Hands-on experience with compliance risk management, preferably from the financial industry.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Analytical skills
• Self-driven and able to take ownership, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential for working with business leaders and teams across all levels of the organisation.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry and the payment processing industry.

Education and background: 

• Law degree
• 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Five years of leadership experience.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• An excellent command of spoken and written Danish is required.
