Job Overview:
We are looking for an Insurance & Claims Analyst to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover for 12 months starting the 1st of June 2026. In this role, you will be responsible for managing marine insurance matters such as claims records, submissions, handling and administration of all documentation and invoices related to insurance matters.
You will report to the Director of Fleet and be based in Copenhagen.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the crew claims being handled by crew managers
- Maintain updated records of all the insurance documentation including but not limited to Cover Notes and Certificate of Entry
- Ensure the insurance documentation is distributed accordingly to all relevant parties upon each renewal and as may be required throughout the year
- Ensure that all insurance documentation is issued in accordance with internal and external requirements
- Maintain and monitor records on all H&M and P&I claims
- Arrange for war additional insurance coverage as may be required, in cooperation with our operations team and pool operator
- Handling of all insurance related invoices and credit notes
- Maintain an updated record of all the annual premiums payable per insurance
About you:
- Organised and structured.
- Excellent communicator in English, both verbally and in written format
- Demonstrated numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in handling all Microsoft packages, especially Excel
- A result-oriented and proactive person with a collaborative mindset
- Sense of urgency skills and understanding of the importance of deadlines without compromising the quality
- Positive attitude with a proactive and practical approach focusing on value creation for our customers and other relevant stakeholders
