Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst for Denmark.  You will be the finance lead in the country, a key part of the country leadership team and critical business partner for the Country Lead and Marketing Director.  You will be manager for Financial analyst responsible for the overall financial integrity and performance of the commercial business.  You will also support preparing business proposals, verify assumptions, check daily execution and support delivery of overall objectives and ensure the integrity and timeliness of reporting.
 

You may also be part of strategic initiatives and decisions to improve the financial results for projects across Nordics countries and must have the ability to work cross-functionally and influence multiple stakeholders both within the CU and broader NWE Finance organization.

The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will work under the guidance of the Nordic Finance Director to maintain finance transactions, data, systems and reporting. You will also collect data and perform detailed checks/controls.



How You Will Contribute

  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to business unit and functional leaders, providing financial insights and results by bringing together full E2E P&L ownership.
  • Own and perform the month-end closing process; analyse and resolve challenges as they arise.
  • Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process including Annual budget planning, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modelling.
  • Help the Nordic finance director and the business prepare critical financial data and insight that enable perspectives for business strategies and decisions, not limited to pricing strategies, innovation projects, or cross-functional projects
  • Proactively drive a business partnering agenda towards Sales and Marketing eg. RGM.
  • Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies.
  • Lead projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your peers.

What you will bring

  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial analysis and data collection/structuring
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN and relevant experience in a local or regional business
  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS including collaboration and communication skills within a Finance team. Team player with can do mentality to deliver result.
  • GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • INTEGRITY and in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations.

Education/Certifications:

University degree - accounting, economics, statistics, finance administration

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Excel skills and technical skills (Power-BI)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player who manages collaboratively with all stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with financial systems, particularly SAP is beneficial.
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with details/understand business implications.
