The Enterprise AI team stands at the intersection of the cutting-edge Miro AI tech and a broad range of expectations that our enterprise customers have. We focus on expanding the range of models to power AI capabilities and on providing AI customization tools to the more demanding users. Our objective is to ensure that Miro remains competitive and offers a comprehensive set of AI-powered solutions that transform the collaborative dynamics, lead to significant productivity gains, and help our users collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.

About the Role

This role will support the rapid evolution and expansion of AI capabilities in Miro by building and scaling the new functionality, as well as ensuring the existing system remains operational. Contributing towards AI customization capabilities as a whole, and tools like model selection and Bring Your Own AI in particular, will ensure Miro's position as the top player in the AI-first collaborative platform space.

What you’ll do

  • Build customizable AI-powered solutions that cater to the needs of the more demanding Miro users
  • Maintain, monitor, and ensure that the system components your team owns are fully operational and support continuous improvement of the engineering practices and processes
  • Collaborate across several teams in the AI stream to build net new AI-centric functionality across the platform, capabilities, and product surface layers
  • Make a positive impact on the entire engineering organization by helping teams and individuals to integrate AI into their capabilities in a technically sound and robust way
  • Contribute to the new standards in scalability, reliability, and observability of the AI capabilities in the entire Miro ecosystem, not limited to your team or stream

What you’ll need

  • Engineering technically simple and elegant solutions that scale to millions of monthly active users
  • 6+ years building scalable systems that are used by millions of users every month
  • At least 2+ years of building AI-powered digital products and applications that leverage
  • Strong backend development experience (Java and/or Kotlin preferred) and solid frontend skills with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (e.g., React)
  • Informed curiosity and practical interest in the AI space, passion for user experience, and building tools that empower others
  • Maker's mindset and slight bias towards launching fast and iterating rapidly towards the product vision
  • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with product and design, driving alignment and delivering impact
  • Familiarity with Python and its AI/ML ecosystem is a plus
