BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST (Maternity Cover)
Based in Horsens

At our office facilities by the habour edge in Horsens, you will become part of an energetic office community, consisting of 6 colleagues looking forward to welcoming you in our team. The position is a maternity cover from 1 May 2026 and is approximately running for 11 months.

About the job

The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in the company's progression towards a data-oriented culture. The role has two primary responsibilities. Firstly, working towards the development and maintenance of the data warehouse based on business requirements. Secondly, using data from the data warehouse to generate reports, dashboards and analyses for the provision of timely and accurate information to the end users.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Understanding, identifying, and questioning business users' requirements
  • Using business requirements to determine the data to be extracted from the system
  • Extracting, transforming, and loading data into a semantic model (tabular instance)
  • Creating measures and dimensions within the model
  • Developing a standard design for data visualization within the organization
  • Utilizing these standards to create dashboards and reports

As a Business Intelligence Analyst your ongoing contributions will:

  • Promoting fact-based decision-making by continually challenging assumptions.
  • Providing dashboards and reports emanating from various data sources to aid users in optimal decision-making.
  • Offering executive-level dashboards and reports for monitoring business performance.
  • Facilitating alignment of reporting across business units for consistency.
  • Enabling easy dissemination of data to external customers and vendors.

Are you the Business Intelligence Analyst we are looking for?

What We Expect:

  • An analytical and problem-solving intellectual with a strong inclination for data-driven strategies
  • Excellent critical thinking abilities and a profound interest in delving deep into data
  • A self-starter with the initiative to independently manage and execute tasks

You'll Need:

  • An MSc in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role with exposure to data warehouse design
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or DAX is highly beneficial - while expertise in these areas is not mandatory, it will be considered a significant asset to your application
