Learning Specialist

As we continue to expand our offerings, we are seeking a dynamic Learning Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing and delivering exceptional learning experiences for our sales employees and customers.

The position is location‑flexible. The successful candidate must be willing to travel approximately 25–30 days per year.

Position Overview:

At Milestone Systems, technology only creates impact when people know how to sell, position, and demonstrate it effectively. As a Product & Solution Trainer, you will enable our Salespeople and Solution Engineers to connect product capabilities to real customer value—confidently and consistently.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Facilitation

• Deliver instructor‑led training for Salespeople and Solution Engineers (in‑person and virtual)
• Facilitate product, solution, and demo training 
• Lead workshops, role plays, and scenario‑based exercises focused on real customer situations

Content & Curriculum

• Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, exercises, and facilitator guides
• Translate product capabilities into value‑driven solution narratives
• Collaborate with Product Management and SMEs to stay current on roadmap, releases, and differentiators

Enablement & Reinforcement

• Support solution certification programs and enablement journeys 
• Reinforce learning through follow‑up sessions, coaching support, and feedback loops
• Continuously improve training based on participant feedback and business needs
• Experience as a Solution Engineer, Technical Trainer, Sales Engineer, or Product Trainer
• Strong understanding of complex technical software solutions and how to explain them clearly
• Hands on experience working directly with customers in sales cycles, demos, and technical solution design 
• Strong understanding of the VMS industry, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer and sales value
• Comfortable presenting to both technical and commercial audiences

Qualifications:

Experience & Skills

• Experience as a Solution Engineer, Technical Trainer, Sales Engineer, or Product Trainer
• Strong understanding of complex technical software solutions and how to explain them clearly
• Hands on experience working directly with customers in sales cycles, demos, and technical solution design 
• Strong understanding of the VMS industry, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer and sales value
• Comfortable presenting to both technical and commercial audiences
