Milestone Systems is looking for a talented Postdoc candidate!

Are you an enthusiastic developer and a results-oriented candidate wishing to acquire experience in a rapidly growing sector?  Visual Analysis and Perception (VAP) lab at Aalborg University (AAU) and Milestone Systems are looking for a highly motivated Postdoc candidate who is interested in exploring novel approaches of working with/on Vision Language Models. The position is co-financed by The Innovation Fund Denmark.

Qualifications and educational preferences 

• You must have a PhD degree before you start working on this position.
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch. 
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Strong interest in computer vision, and machine learning. 
• High motivation, a high level of commitment, a proactive and positive attitude. 
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. 

Personal skills 

• You are passionate about technology and want to learn more about a product that is a key player in its field and is shaping the future of its industry. 
• You are willing to work in a dynamic environment where experimentation and learning are required as part of building and developing a product. 
• You are a team player who values integrity and honesty in communication.

Your Team 

You will be joining Milestone’s Emerging AI, which is mainly located in Brøndby, and VAP lab in Aalborg, Denmark. Milestone Emerging AI conducts research on various computer vision and machine learning topics to among others, efficient use of Vision Language Models for video understanding and anomaly detection in the surveillance context.
