We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect with a strong technical background across Dynamics F&O cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, optimization, and stabilization of Dynamics F&O deployments, working closely with customers to drive measurable business value.
The candidate must have proven experience in customer‑facing roles, along with project delivery and technical leadership experience, and a demonstrated ability to lead in‑depth technical architecture discussions with customer executives, solution architects, IT leadership, enterprise architects, and development teams. This role requires the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear architectural decisions that align with customer goals. The candidate should also be open to travel to customer sites as required by business needs.

ResponsibilitiesExperience Profile & Customer Centricity
- Extensive experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including Finance and Supply Chain Management, with hands‑on exposure to on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of ERP system architecture and best practices, with the ability to design and guide scalable, secure, and enterprise‑grade solutions.
- Deep expertise in the technical and functional aspects of Dynamics 365 F&O, including core business processes across finance and supply chain.
- Proven experience with customization and development in Dynamics 365 F&O, as well as ERP implementations and ongoing system management, including integration with third‑party systems.
- Ability to lead in‑depth technical discussions and provide clear architectural guidance to customers, architects, IT leadership, and development teams throughout design and implementation phases.

Core Technical Expertise
- Expert hands-on experience implementing, customizing, optimizing, and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), with strong exposure to on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud-based deployments.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations architecture, including application layers, data models, extensibility framework, and overall environment topology.
- Proven experience leading Dynamics F&O migration and modernization initiatives, including upgrades from legacy Dynamics AX and transitions to cloud‑first architectures.
- Deep expertise in performance troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
- Practical experience with ERP system administration and operational best practices for F&O environments, including monitoring, capacity planning, and production readiness.
- Demonstrated capability to perform end‑to‑end environment health assessments and performance audits, and to design and execute remediation and optimization plans, particularly for on‑premises and hybrid F&O environments.
- Strong experience designing, building, and troubleshooting integrations for Dynamics F&O, leveraging:

Language Qualifications
- English: Fluent (reading, writing, and speaking) — mandatory.
- Swedish is strongly recommended as the primary working language for customer engagements in the Nordic market.

Security & Onsite Support Requirements
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is mandatory for this role.
- The successful candidate must have, or be able to obtain, a security certificate entitling access to classified information at the following levels or higher: “SECRET, NATO SECRET, SECRET UE / EU SECRET”
- Ideally, the candidate holds Swedish citizenship, as it significantly supports eligibility and processing for required Nordic security clearances.
- This role also requires onsite support, and the frequency of onsite presence will depend on customer needs, including critical project phases, escalations, workshops, or deployments. Flexibility to travel within the Nordic region is expected.

- Certification or formal training in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including administration, development, or solution architecture.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), including solution architecture, customization concepts, integration patterns, and functional understanding across core CE workloads such as Sales and Customer Service.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services and an understanding of how Azure capabilities support, extend, and integrate with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Broader Dynamics 365 ecosystem awareness, with the ability to understand how CE, Dynamics AX, and F&O interact across hybrid, upgrade, and migration scenarios, including data flow and integration dependencies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX, including AX architecture, module structure, and data model fundamentals, with the ability to support, troubleshoot, or collaborate effectively with AX‑focused engineering teams.
- Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) exposure, including familiarity with inventory, procurement, master planning, or production processes.
- Warehouse Management (WMS) functional and/or technical knowledge, including WHS configuration, mobile device workflows, location directives, work templates, and advanced warehouse operations.
- Experience with data migration and data transformation projects, particularly in ERP modernization or platform transition initiatives.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools, such as Power BI, and their use in ERP reporting and operational insights.
- Exposure to non‑Microsoft ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and the ability to understand and compare enterprise ERP architectures is considered a plus.
- Familiarity with Power Apps development and customization
