Meta is seeking a Data Center Campus Facility Manager to lead our Data Center in Denmark. The Data Center Campus Facility Manager will lead and develop a facility operations team that will operate and maintain the critical facility infrastructure at our Data Center campus, plan and execute projects to upgrade and improve our critical and non-critical infrastructure systems, utilize tools, processes, and develope safety culture necessary to effectively operate the site. Operating and maintaining our Data Center is key for providing service to our customers.
Responsibilities
Establish, mentor, and lead a Facility Operations team responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of critical and non-critical infrastructure systems on the data center campus
Lead in a fast-paced, hands-on, 24/7 operating environment
Ensure central processes and standards are implemented to enable efficiency and effectiveness
Collaborate with DCCFM counterparts at other sites, leadership, and adjacent teams to promote efficiencies and sharing of lessons globally
Lead the FacOps team and work with peer teams to identify engineering changes, define project scope, prioritize, schedule, and execute projects
Direct the review of operational standards, SOOs, and MOPs for consistency and maximum system reliability
Oversee critical vendor management supporting operations and maintenance
Find creative solutions to reduce operational costs and maximize infrastructure utilization
Prepare post-incident reports, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans
Oversee automation system interfaces for optimal data center performance
Ensure campus compliance with all safety and environmental requirements
Respond as needed to after-hours maintenance and system complications
Up to 20% travel may be required
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of management experience in technology operations, including critical operations
Experience in personnel/team management, including managing Managers or large contractor teams in a critical ops environment
Experience making decisions and working with minimal direction
Knowledge of critical power and cooling infrastructure
Experience with environmental, health and safety programs
Troubleshooting and analytical skills
Experience communicating and presenting complex material effectively
Experience in cross-functional, collaborative environments
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards (NFPA, ASHRAE)
