Your Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities

As Head Nurse Scandinavia you will lead and drive continuous improvement and development within clinical quality in the entire process regarding surgery, hygiene, and sterile procedures. You are the key role in supporting and guiding the nursing staff to maintain high standards of care, ensure regulatory compliance and uphold internal guidelines. You will also serve as a central point of contact for the nursing profession across operations and support functions. 

You will also:

• Ensure that nurses possess sufficient and up-to-date competencies to perform their roles effectively

• Conduct training and ensure that nurses follow established guidelines related to medical delegation

• Streamline and improve processes such as clinical routines, standard instruments and equipment

• Implementing best practices and facilitating communication within nursing teams

You report to our Quality Manager in Scandinavia.

Specific skills and requirements:

• Relevant university education

• Clinical experience with at least 5 years of suitable work experience 

• Good leadership experience with the ability to build strong teams 

• Good systems skills and understanding of how to streamline and improve processes 

Important for the role is that you have the ability to lead and engage to drive continuous improvement. You also have strong business and organizational skills with strong decision making and communication skills. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a requirement. This position requires excellent teamwork abilities and a high level of independence. We expect you to deliver high quality and uphold patient safety at all times.

Location: Flexible in Sweden, Norway or Denmark

Extent of Employment: Full-time

Type of Employment: Permanent, starting with a six-month probationary period
