We are looking for an experienced Network Specialist to design, operate, and continuously improve our enterprise network infrastructure across Matas Group. The role is responsible for ensuring secure, stable, and scalable connectivity across offices, datacenters, and cloud environments.
You will play a key role in operating and evolving our switching, wireless, firewall, SD-WAN, and VPN landscape, working closely with IT Operations and Security teams.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations
- Design, configure, and operate enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain switching and Wi-Fi solutions based on Cisco, Meraki, Dell and HP/ARUBA technologies.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability across network environments.
- Handle lifecycle management of network hardware and firmware upgrades.
Firewall, SD-WAN & VPN
- Own and maintain the firewall infrastructure, including policy design, rule management, troubleshooting and updates.
- Design, operate, and optimize SD-WAN solutions for branch and site connectivity.
- Implement and manage site-to-site and remote access VPN solutions.
- Work closely with Security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
Network Architecture & Connectivity
- Design and maintain secure connectivity between on-prem environments, datacenters, and cloud platforms.
- Support network integration for SaaS and cloud services.
- Contribute to network architecture standards, documentation, and best practices.
Automation & Standardization
- Drive automation and standardization of network configurations where possible.
- Maintain documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Participate in modernization initiatives across network and security platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with enterprise networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, Dell and HP/Aruba switching and wireless solutions.
- Experience in making site surveys for wireless optimization.
- Solid experience with firewall technologies, rule design, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SD-WAN architectures and operations.
- Strong knowledge of VPN technologies (site-to-site and remote access).
- Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues across multiple environments.
- Experience working in a hybrid on-prem and cloud environment.
- Experience with ZeroTrust environments.
Preferred Certifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher.
- Meraki or vendor-specific networking certifications.
- Network security or firewall-related certifications are a plus.
