FP&A Associate - Matas Group

About the team
You will join Matas Group’s Commercial Finance team, a growing and ambitious function working at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations. The team supports executive management through financial analysis, performance management, and business partnering across both the Danish Matas business and the recently acquired KICKS Group.

You will report to the FP&A Manager and collaborate closely with business partners, strategy, and Group-functions. The role provides broad exposure across Matas Group and offers strong learning opportunities in an environment characterized by transformation, analytical depth, and a high professional standard.

Your main responsibilities

• Support the monthly performance reporting process and contribute to management presentations and dashboards.
• Assist in financial planning, forecasting and budgeting processes across the Group.
• Operate, refine and enhance our integrated financial planning & consolidation model.
• Prepare data analysis and visualizations that enable strategic, insight driven decision-making
• Contribute to development and automation of financial reports and tools in Power BI, Power Automate, Excel or similar platforms – in close cooperation with the IT / BI department.
• Participate in ad hoc analyses and projects, including cost analysis, valuation, impairment testing, business case support, profitability insights or KPI tracking

Your profile
You are analytically strong, structured, and motivated by turning data into insights that drive better business decisions. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to learn from experienced colleagues while contributing actively to the team’s development.

We imagine that you:

• Hold a relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• Have 2–5 years of experience in finance, FP&A, or Business Analyst role (recent graduates with relevant student experience are also encouraged to apply)
• Are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working with data and financial models.
• Have experience with automation and BI tools – or an interest in learning.
• Communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating across functions and seniority levels.
• It is an advantage if you have experience in retail, consumer goods, or other data-rich business environments.
