Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Sustainability & Product Compliance Expert to drive and ensure the environmental and regulatory compliance of our products across the Nordic region. This role is crucial in supporting our commitment to sustainable practices and market access.

Job Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor, interpret, and implement national and EU regulations related to product compliance (e.g., REACH, CLP, BPR, national chemical legislation) within the Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland).
  • Product Stewardship: Manage and maintain product safety data sheets (SDS) and technical data sheets (TDS) in accordance with local language requirements and regulatory updates.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Support the development and implementation of sustainable product strategies, including life cycle assessments (LCAs), environmental product declarations (EPDs), and eco-labeling initiatives.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Support:Act as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders (customers, authorities, industry associations) regarding product compliance and sustainability information.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential compliance risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Training & Awareness: Provide training and guidance to internal teams (e.g., sales, R&D, production) on product compliance and sustainability topics.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit necessary regulatory reports and documentation to relevant authorities.
  • Market Access: Ensure products meet all necessary regulatory requirements for market entry and continued sales within the Nordic region.


Who are we looking for:

Our preferred candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. You need to demonstrate a proven experience (3+ years) in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or sustainability within the chemical, construction, or related industry, preferably with a focus on the Nordic market.

We look for a cancidate with an in-depth understanding of EU and Nordic chemical regulations (e.g., REACH, CLP, national chemical regulations). If you have experience with construction product regulations (CPR) we see this as a strong plus.

In this role, you need to be proficient in at least one Nordic language (e.g., Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish), as well as fluent in English, both written and spoken.


You need to use regulatory databases and software with ease and if you have experience with LCA tools and EPD generation, we see this as a plus.
An ideak candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory information into clear, actionable advice. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, managing multiple priorities effectively is a requirement in this role.

Occasional travel within Nordics is to be expected in this role.
