Key to our strategy is delivering on MGF and MEC Svd process transformation which is guided by a strong, scalable, and efficient process and implemented on a cutting-edge Platform Operating Model. Now, we're seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead the Service Delivery Process transformation for Maersk Ground Freight and Maersk E- Commerce. Ensuring exceptional implementations and the quality of processes at the most cost-efficient level. Lead, innovate, and collaborate across teams to craft first-class technical solutions.
Purpose of the Role
Drive cost-efficient, compliant, and scalable operations for Maersk Ground Freight (MGF) and Maersk E-Commerce (MEC) by leading work placement initiatives, transformation programs, and modern platform design. Contribute to operations planning, ECR execution, and vendor co-development (Oracle, Accelalpha/IBM).
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute work placement strategies (functions/FTEs) through regional or GSC centralization
Develop business cases including cost savings, transition costs, and ramp-up plans
Lead wave planning, knowledge transfer, hypercare, and operational readiness
Define and execute transformation roadmap for MGF and MEC (standardization, digitization, AI, automation)
Prioritize initiatives based on impact vs feasibility
Track and ensure value realization
Design end-to-end L2–L5 TO-BE processes across LtA, OTC, SvD, STP
Define service catalogue, access matrix, and segregation of duties (SoD)
Develop UAT scenarios aligned with processes, systems, and user personas
Manage product backlog, sprint planning, and requirement clarification
Define acceptance criteria and ensure alignment with business goals
Orchestrate multi-vendor delivery and ensure integration alignment
Monitor vendor performance against defined outcomes
Collaborate with Product, Process, PEX, and Platform teams
Accountabilities
Achieve cost savings targets while ensuring business continuity and compliance
Drive stakeholder alignment across key functions
Improve PSA/PAI metrics and SLA performance
Deliver measurable cost-to-serve reductions
Ensure designs are configuration-ready and audit-compliant
Maintain traceability from process → controls → UAT → KPIs
Deliver within scope, timelines, and defined KPIs
Consulted On
End-to-end process definition and design

Platform and operational capability roadmaps
Maturity assessments and audits
Change and risk management
What you bring:
Exceptional process mindset, with Lean Six Sigma thinking. (The Maersk Way/ Black Belt certification mandatory)
Understanding of Business strategy and ability to interpret and apply the strategy to own scope
Experience in running, operating, and improving core systems and/or processes
Customer centricity, GSC, Area/Region, and Maersk Eco-system experience
Ability to map processes, understand Variations, and ability to fix processes through process controls.
Open-minded, strategic thinker able to challenge traditional reasoning and roll sleeves to find a solution with a strong outcome focus.
Ability to stimulate creative ideas and perspectives
Excellent Senior stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills
Technical acumen and growth mindset, up to date and nimble in pivoting to recent technology trends (Such as AI)
Ability to take ownership of complex products and make effective prioritization decisions
Past experience in Work-placement or cost reduction initiatives is a plus.
Project management experience and attention to detail, past experience of working for the OP initiatives is a plus.
