Platform Product Owner – Procure‑to‑Pay Platforms

Do you want to work at the intersection of business, technology, and operations — shaping platforms that control spend, strengthen compliance, and deliver real efficiency at enterprise scale?

We are looking for an ambitious and thoughtful Platform Product Owner to join our Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) Platforms team.

The Opportunity

One of the company’s OP priorities, Procure‑to‑Pay sits at the heart of how cost, risk, and operational efficiency are managed — spanning the end‑to‑end process from purchase order creation through invoice validation and dispute handling.

In this role, you will help identify opportunities and drive accelerated value delivery across P2P platforms, with a strong focus on cost assurance, productivity, and automation.

This role is designed for a product professional who is eager to grow their ownership, visibility, and influence over time. You will operate in a large and complex stakeholder landscape, working closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Technology. Success in the role comes from building alignment, shaping direction, and turning ambiguity into clarity through strong communication and structured thinking.

The scope is intentionally broad and will evolve as priorities and platform needs develop — offering meaningful opportunities to expand responsibility and become a trusted product voice across the organization.

What You Will Do

  • Help shape product vision, priorities, and roadmaps across parts of the Procure‑to‑Pay platform landscape, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and platform strategy.
  • Translate business needs into clear product direction, including well‑structured requirements, user stories, and a continuously groomed backlog.
  • Lead discovery and problem framing with process owners, users, and UX, using qualitative and quantitative insights to define opportunities and guide decisions.
  • Drive alignment through clear, structured communication — articulating problems, options, and trade‑offs to enable effective decision‑making across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Manage prioritization and trade‑offs across user experience, business value, technical constraints, risk and control requirements, and performance considerations.
  • Help shape initiatives that improve efficiency and control, including automation opportunities, process standardization, data quality improvements, and reduction of manual work and rework.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, data, and architecture teams to support delivery and continuous improvement, navigating dependencies and evolving requirements.
  • Use data and narrative together to inform decisions and clearly communicate progress, impact, and outcomes to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a product management role, ideally within an enterprise or similarly complex environment requiring strong stakeholder management.
  • Structured thinking - Ability to break down complex problems into clear hypotheses, options, and recommendations.
  • data‑driven approach to problem solving and prioritization, using evidence and insight rather than intuition or hierarchy.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating closely with engineering teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills — able to structure complex topics, tailor messages to different audiences, and facilitate constructive discussions that lead to clear outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build alignment across differing priorities and perspectives.
  • Ambition and learning mindset, with a track record of taking on increasing responsibility, seeking feedback, and growing scope over time.
  • Comfortable operating in environments with ambiguity, dependencies, and evolving needs.

Nice to have (not required)

  • Exposure to Procure‑to‑Pay, Procurement, Finance, ERP ecosystems, invoicing or dispute management, automation, or controls and compliance.
  • Experience supporting process or decision‑making standardization across teams or geographies.
  • Background in shipping, logistics, or similarly complex operational environments.

Why Join

This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise‑scale platforms with tangible operational and financial impact. You will gain exposure to complex, cross‑functional decision‑making and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology. For someone motivated by influence, learning, and seeing their ideas shape real outcomes, this is a high‑impact platform role with strong growth potential.
