About the role

As the Head of New Market Development, you will lead the identification, shaping, and conversion of new Customs business opportunities by enabling new customer acquisition across markets. This is a hands-on, growth enablement leadership role where you will combine personal ownership of strategic opportunities with the leadership of a high-performing team

 

You will act as a bridge between market opportunities, solution design, and tender execution, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and consistently high win rates. While you will set direction and coach the team, success in this role requires you to be actively involved in customer engagement, deal shaping, and complex sales conversations, leading from the front and driving impact through direct contribution as well as team performance. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with area teams as a global integrator for new business development.
  • Drive structured identification of new global business opportunities across regions
  • Partner with areas and verticals to prioritize target accounts & verticals and build a qualified and sustainable pipeline
  • Lead early-stage opportunity structuring by defining customer problem statements, value propositions and high-level solution concepts
  • Collaborate closely with solution design and product teams
  • Ensure seamless transition from opportunity sharing to tender execution
  • Capture customer needs and competitive insights and feed into solution design & product development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team, fostering a performance-driven and collaborative culture
  • Take ownership of selected strategic Customs opportunities, engaging with internal customers and stakeholders to shape solutions and increase win rates
