As Functional Product Owner (FPO) for the Contract Filing Process, you will own the global end-to-end design, implementation, and performance of contract filing within the Lead to Agreement (LTA) process domain. You are accountable for delivering measurable contract-filing-related business outcomes aligned with the LTA priorities, including reducing sales effort, improving contracting compliance, enhancing invoice quality, and enabling frontline sales teams to spend more time with customers.
These outcomes will be achieved by ensuring full contract quality compliance and by designing and embedding a connected, end-to-end contract filing process journey that is standardised, efficient, automated where possible, and scalable across all regions and contract types.
You will lead the transformation toward a globally standardised, high-quality, and increasingly automated contract filing process. This includes defining the global to-be process, translating business needs into prioritised functional requirements for technology and platform teams, ensuring end-user adoption, and tracking realised business value post-implementation.
The role requires close collaboration with regional, area, GSC, FPO peers, Business Product Owners, and platform and engineering teams to ensure consistent execution and outcome delivery across markets. Success is measured by sustained process quality compliance, measurable efficiency gains, improved user and customer experience, and demonstrable value realisation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Drive change management in global Sales organisation in order to achieve the expected business outcome
Achieve turn around time reduction in contract terms and conditions negotiation to enable revenue growth
Design and own the global to‑be contract filing journey, including detailed process flows, RACI definitions, control points, data requirements, and integration touchpoints with upstream (e.g. quote, pricing) and downstream (e.g. billing, dispute) processes.
Translate business needs into functional requirements by creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritised backlogs for platform and engineering teams; ensure contract filing requirements reflect regional nuances while driving global standardisation.
Drive business benefit realisation by partnering with platform, product, and engineering teams to validate designs, participate in sprint ceremonies, approve releases, and confirm that delivered features meet business objectives.
Define and execute the global implementation plan, including stakeholder mapping, communication strategy, training materials, and post‑go‑live support; ensure adoption and quality are measured and reinforced through compliance monitoring.
Collaborate with other FPOs to ensure end‑to‑end process alignment, resolve cross‑process dependencies, and jointly drive improvements that impact multiple parts of the value chain.
Own and maintain all process documentation, ensuring contract filing ARIS maps, SOPs, and policies are accurate, version‑controlled, and accessible to all relevant teams.
Conduct structured gemba walks and end‑user interviews to validate real‑world execution, identify systemic issues, and feed insights into the continuous improvement backlog.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data (e.g., error rates, processing time), frontline feedback, and root‑cause analysis to deliver measurable efficiency and quality gains
Lead standardisation and process maturity efforts for contract filing process, defining and achieving maturity targets for contract filing processes.
Own contract filing process risk management, including risk identification, control design, testing, and remediation planning; ensure risks are documented and monitored through established governance forums.
What we are looking for:
Strong communication and change-landing capability: Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and proposed changes, effectively influencing both leadership stakeholders and cross-functional execution teams. The role requires translating strategy into actionable messages, ensuring alignment and driving adoption across different personas.
Deep belief in the organization’s vision and able to articulate it clearly to create alignment and buy-in across teams.
Proven ability to independently drive transformation, deliver strong results, and maintain a high-performance mindset.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret process data, identify root causes, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders, including regional leaders, product owners, and engineering teams, especially in environments with competing priorities.
Comfort working in complex, matrixed organisations, balancing global standardisation with local business needs.
Demonstrated resilience and ability to operate under pressure, maintaining clarity and focus during periods of high change or ambiguity.
Experience working closely with technology teams, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and participating in agile delivery cycles.
Ability to quickly understand new systems, processes, and business models, and translate them into clear requirements and process designs.
Frontline sales or sales‑operations experience (advantageous), enabling empathy for end users and a practical understanding of commercial realities.
Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation, process optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.
