Functional Product Manager- Intercompany Billing (ICB)

We’re looking for a Functional Product Manager for Intercompany Billing (ICB) who is excited about bringing clarity, consistency, and structure to one of our most critical global processes. 

ICB spans multiple systems, regions, and functions, so a dedicated owner is essential to standardize policies, manage health metrics, and proactively identify risks. This role strengthens alignment between L&S Operations, Platform teams, and Finance Executive Leadership, ensuring that our strategic priorities are reflected in both billing processes and system design. It also delivers the executive level insights needed for informed decision making and supports Maersk’s broader modernization agenda. 

At its core, this role helps Maersk run smoothly by ensuring our ICB policies, processes, and governance are strong, reliable, and easy to follow. 

You’ll work closely with colleagues across Operations, Platform teams, and Finance Leadership, helping connect the dots between strategy, systems, and daytoday billing practices. What You’ll Do:

ICB Policy & Process Ownership 

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve ICB policies, documentation and governance standards. 

• Ensure everything is clear, consistent, auditready, and aligned to Maersk’s financial and operational frameworks. 

• Collaborate across functions to validate process flows, billing logic, and compliance needs. 

ICB Health Metrics & Performance 

• Own the design, tracking, and reporting of ICB health metrics (accuracy, timeliness, exceptions). 

• Spot performance issues, identify root causes, and highlight areas needing attention. 

• Provide clear insights and recommendations to leadership to strengthen ICB performance and control health. 

Cross Functional Collaboration 

• Partner with L&S Operations, Platform teams, and Finance Leadership to translate business priorities into ICB process and system requirements. 

• Participate in business reviews to understand operational challenges, billing issues and help uncover improvement opportunities. 

• Serve as a connector between operations, finance, and platform teams to ensure alignment and clarity on ICB expectations. 

Executive Level Communication 

• Create high quality executive presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials for leadership and business reviews. 

• Turn complex topics into clear, digestible insights. 

• Communicate performance, risks, and initiatives in a structured and compelling way.
